About Me

I’m Nic — an Iowa based photographer with ten years behind the lens and a lifelong obsession with capturing moments that feel alive. I actually failed my photography classes in college because all I wanted to do was shoot, create, and live in the darkroom instead of follow the syllabus. Turns out passion knows its own path.

I’m a wife, a mom, a traveler, and a storyteller who chases the kind of moments that unfold naturally and glow with real emotion. My work is bright, bold, cinematic, and honest.

My fiancé and I use Nicole for our engagement photos and she did an amazing job. She knew all the right poses and what to have us do to make the picture perfect. She made us feel comfortable and she was awesome to work with. I’m so excited to have her be doing our wedding this summer. She is very good at what she does! Even while we were changing outfits she did some photos of our girls, which was a total surprise until we got our photos back. I was speechless at how they turned out.
